In his film, Simón explores the sonic qualities of the Dove Street flats. He says, "my video addresses the way in which we inhabit our home through sound. Although it could be argued that planners designed Carolina House as a non-place, a space only meant to be transited through, we humans inhabit the space and assign meaning to it. Sound plays a major role in that inhabitation, embodying the meanings of both the transitory and of our home."
